When you buy a yacht with us, we don't just cut you loose and call it a day.  We like to help you get familiar with your new yacht and become comfortable with operating it.  A yacht buyer who ends up afraid to leave the dock because he/she isn't comfortable operating their yacht leads to unhappy customers and we don't like that!  After the deal, we like to spend time with you on the boat and do what we like to call "parking lot day."  Totally free of charge, we spend a whole day with you going through the yacht's systems and practicing docking in your slip, different slips, fuel docks, and marina maneuvering.  (Check out the photo to the right.  It is a track of a 'dock day' with a new owner with our path going in and out of his new slip and around to a gas dock.)  Still not feeling comfortable or want to go cruising for a weekend to get more comfortable with your yacht, anchoring, sailing, or captaining?  We can do that, too!  We want you to feel 100% confident that you can operate your yacht because if you are a happy yacht owner, you brag to your friends about your great yacht broker!  It is a win-win for you and for us.

Are you buying a boat from out of town and need to deliver it home after the sale?  We can help you bring your boat to its new slip, whether it is around town or from Maine to Florida after you have accepted the yacht.  We work as a captain/mate team similar to people you would hire off the internet with the same service.  Our leg up is that we are already familiar with you and your new yacht after all of our time shopping together and our time with the boat during the purchasing process.  Basically, you have the confidence of knowing exactly what you are getting.  This is a great opportunity for us to teach you how to operate your boat, dock, anchor, use boat systems, and navigate with your new electronics.  Unlike a hired captain, we can really focus on helping you learn how to handle your boat instead of just delivering the yacht.  These trips are extremely educational and they are a blast.

Even after we have worked with you on becoming familiar with your yacht or getting it to its new home, we like to stay in touch with you.  We are always available for maintenance and service questions and we can point you in the right direction for good contractors, marinas, insurance providers, and even cruising destinations.  We also can help you find discounted marine equipment.  Want to buy your spouse some new dock lines for Christmas?  We can help you!​  Want to know what your boat has been selling for with the latest market or need help finding a new marina?  Our goal is to be there for you after the sale so your ENTIRE boating experience is fun, not just the buying process.
